Hey Guy and Gals,

Just wanted to say hello. I'm a new member to the forums, but not to Jeeps. I have a 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo that I recently just paid off, (finally) so of course time to start modding.

I'm not looking to do anything really extreme, just trying to keep it OEM looking as possible. Of course definitely getting some Satin Black SRT8 20" I think it will match the grey plastic accents. What I'm really interested in attempting is the front end conversion. I saw lots of information on the site about doing it, but of course attempting it is different. I was wondering? I notice that the 08 has 2 different bumpers. One has the outlining of the headlight at the top of the bumper and some don't, what's the difference? Do 08's have 2 different types of headlight? HID's and Halogen? Any help would be appreciated. If you live in Florida come help me. :)

Thanks
Shawn

i would suggest going straight to the SRT8 bumper. in order to switch to the newer style bumper you will need new headlights, grille and support brackets. you dont need to add HID headlights for the 08-10 style, you can buy plain halogen headlights, but hids are much better

Thanks everyone!

1st thing i'm gonna do is a full tune-up, plugs, filters, valves, brakes. Kinda gonna refresh the interior, replace little things here and there. Then the fun starts.
