New to jeepgarage

Hey everyone, im new to jeepgarage.com. Just wanted to make a quick post. (Near Kalamazoo, Michigan)

I recently purchased a 2005 Jeep WK with 122k, Hemi, Navigation for $7500. It needed a bit of work, front right strut was bad, one tire was different, needs a new clockspring/steering control module, water pump, Starter. After doing the starter, water pump, and struts, matching new tire, ive put about a grand into it. Which i still feel like was a great deal. Runs perfect, no rust, body is in great shape. Just wanted to ask on here if there is anything i should make sure to get done, being that it has 122k miles on it? I also need to get a steering wheel control module, anyone have one? or know of a good place to get one?

Ben

WELCOME to the JeepGarage family!!!

I would have a look at the transfer case, axles and tranny to see what service has been done there. You can try car-part.com for the module or give a call to forum vendor JustforJeeps...1888-651-jeep and ask for peter. tell him we sent you...

Great i will try there, ive found the module (comes with the clockspring) for about $440 from a friend that works at a dealer. Which is by far the cheapest ive found. Thanks for the info Scottina06. I will let you guys know how it goes!

Thanks again

Ben
