service electric brake light
guys I have no way to pull codes, dealer wants to charge me. Tried Advanced Auto with no luck.everything was fine until my son thought that he was pushing the rear def button....he pressed it a bunch of time and now the ESP light and service electric brake warning is on.

I pulled the neg term for about 15 minutes, stepped on the brake a few times durn the period. it is still there.
Tried turning the key on/off a few times, and have driven about 30 miles at 45+

Is there anyway to get the sensors to reset?
Is there any fuse that could have popped?

not sure why just pressing it multiple time it would screw it up unless one of the sensors is stuck now..

Re: service electric brake light
I dont see how the def button would cause it. does the service 4wd come on as well? I had all 3, ended up being a wheel sensor.I dont know if any hand held's can tell which sensor ( if thats it) but the dealers can.

No just service electric brake message. Guess just have to eat the cost to have the dealer diag it...

Speed sensor for sure. Mine said rear left speed sensor. Went right away after change.
