MTC to ATC Conversion
I have read that you can change out the manual control panel in WK2 to automatic control panel and for the most part it is plug and play. Does the same hold true for the WK (2010)? I would think since dual zone is not standard on this model that the blend door is not there on the WK but I am mainly interested on the climate control as I have remote start and most times forget to turn everything up before I leave the vehicle. I travel a lot on my job and find it nice to have the windows defrosted and car warm when I exit a hotel.

That and the blower control module, the MTC uses a resistor, ATC uses a circuit board setup (that's $100 to replace) Fortunately I saved the receipt and autozone replaced it no charge.

Re: MTC to ATC Conversion
Bummer! Tried to save a little money as I found this Laredo certified at my local Jeep dealership and it was loaded including Nav, leather, heated seats, adjustable pedals, and my, personal favorite, remote start. Really, the only things it did not have over the Limited was the Climate Control and Memory seats. It was price about 6 g's below any Limited I had found and it was very clean with 28K, so I made the deal.

I travel a lot on business and it is great to come out of hotel with clean windows and a warm car. Unfortunately I am at the age when remembering to set everything prior to leaving the vehicle often gets overlooked. Oh well. Maybe sticky notes.
