Hot/cold air continuously coming in from floor air outlets
i am a fairly new owner of a Grand Cherokee Overland 2009 with dual automatic a/c. i noticed something weird is going on when the a/c unit is completely off. So, when the system is off (no heating, AC or blower) and the vehicle is at speed I feel hot or cold air coming in from the floor (only) air outlets (both driver and passenger side). When the vehicle is at low speed/idle feel much less air, but i can still say that outside air is entering the cabin because you can smell the outside odors(fumes from nearby trucks). Not to mention the extrnal air temperature (if it's -5 degs outside then you legs are getting really cold). When AC is ON air direction towards panel/floor/defrost works perfectly - i.e if you direct the air to panel outlets no air is coming out from floor outlets and so on........ Is this normal ???? from experience in my previous cars with all modes OFF, all air inlets and outlets (front and rear panel, floor, defrost) are shut to prevent the cabin from external cold/hot air as well as dust and odors. Is this a recirc problem or it's normal ??? Pls assist 'cause getting really frustrated with the car...:(
