Jeep Customer Assistance?

What exactly can contacting customer service do for you? I have contacted them once before when I was having a problem and all my case worker did was call me and tell me the same thing the dealership told me.

I am debating on whether to contact them again with a current problem I am having. Long story short: My WK2 has been making a knocking sound in the front end. Took it to the dealer the ordered a new sway bar because they said it was the sway bar bushings. Went back once the part came and the put it on, picked it up and noise was still there. So I took it back the same day and they said it had to be the upper control arm. So they ordered it and I took it in today and they put it on. I get a call at 4:30pm and am told that didn't fix it. So they are ordering an axel, hub, and bearings. I am just getting really tired of not being able to have a problem fixed an a reasonable amount of attempts.

I guess I am really asking if it is even worth it to contact Jeep customer service? If so what can or will they do to help?

Probably not much, as the dealer is still attempting to fix it. If the dealership had given up or said it was no longer a problem then you might have some luck. Don't let me stop you though. I can just hear them saying that the dealership is looking into it and thats all they can do.

When I called they forced a transfer case rebuild based on dealer's incorrect use of fluid and trying to pawn off their mistake on the correct fluid that was put in from another dealer during a previous service trip (all under an extended warranty).

Cut me a refund check for the transfer case fluid change when the dealer wouldn't.

All and all a great experience with them for me.

If nothing else it puts the problem on the record. Is worth it if you have to come back.

My experience with them is they are nice and polite but they didn't help. When I told them about my issue of oil burning smoke they claimed that I was the only one and they were unaware of any problem. I then found out that they are working on a fix for the problem that they claimed noone complained about. Seems that after they get your money then you are on your own.:slapfight:
