Does anyone have dynosheets after installing aftermarket filters

Does anyone have a dynosheet for showing the increase in wheel horsepower after installing aftermarket air filter such as the K&N filter?

I noticed a slight increase in throttle response for my 5.7L engine

Quote from another forum member:

+ 0 HP, +0 MPG, + more dirt.

I couldn't agree more.

Wait about 500 miles and then reinstall the OEM filter. You will notice a slight increase in throttle response, wait 500 miles and put the aftermarket in, then repeat every 500 miles or so.. you will eventually end up with about 500 hp, which is the WK2 limit I think. Then you can start looking for a new tranny :) .

Take a look at the afe kit. They posted the dyno sheets that were generated while using my WK2 as the test vehicle for their prototypes.

bwoody has a dyno chart on their site claiming ~30hp gains. Granted they have a disclaimer saying it was supplied by a customer.

i had my dry aFe in there for a month, i switched back to OEM last month - i noticed a very, very fine talcum like dust inside.

it didn't matter about sound to me since i have the borla cat-back :D
