Spartan PLus Cam and Inertia Performance Heads

Just a little Update......

Today the install started for the spartan plus cam and inertia performance heads. I hope to have some real numbers backed up by the dyno readings posted by the end of the week, but for the time being the unofficial dyno before the install was about 292rwhp.

I was told the install would take until about Wednesday.

Total costs about 4300 out the door.
1700 for the Heads
900 for the Cam kit
500 Dyno/ Before and After
1200 for the Install

I will let you guys know how it go's, Hopefully with some pics and videos by the end of the week.

And then Hopefully Ill be hitting those thirteens!!

All work being done by Spanking Time Motorsports( San Bernadino CA), from which I heard Adam(tuning) and John are some of the best in the business at what they do.

Re: Spartan PLus Cam and Inertia Performance Heads

Well It seems I was supposed to have everything done this weekend; however, I prolonged the process by purchasing some srt8 headers and exhaust system. I was told by doing it now It would allow the heads and cam to breath better; thus allowing less restriction compared to the stock 5.7 exhaust manifolds. Overall, they told me I should pick up another 25 hp.

So hopefully by teusday all will be done along with some real dyno numbers!

sounds great, how many HP more, you can have with this mods?

intake manifold factory or you have swap SRT or mabe eagle?

i plan to install a 392 stroker engine.

Re: Spartan PLus Cam and Inertia Performance Heads

From what the shop owner tells me, they are the SRT8 exhaust manifolds; however, he also tells me they are like headers. Im kind of confused. Nonetheless, I also purchased from them the SRT 8 Exhaust system. The same the srt8's have. He told the piping diameter of the 6.1 manifolds and exuast system would really help the performance heads and cam by providing better air flow compared to that of the stock 5.7 manifolds and exhaust which would actually restrict the newly added power by not allowing the mods to perform at their peak.

Anyways he said I would and should gain about 20 extra Hp to the rear with the 6.1 manifolds/headers and srt8 exhaust system.

As for the heads about 20rwhp

And for the cam about 35-40rwhp

A good tune about 10rwhp

So all in all I expect to gain about

So all in all, Im hoping for at least 80 to the rear when its all said and done; however, I also don't think I will get less then 70 to the rear.

Note: stock Srt8's dyno at about 355-365 to the rear and my pre dyno was 292. So i really hope to be at about close to 370 to the rear when its all done. Cross my fingers!!

Im sorry, I never purchased the intake manifold. I Have seen a couple around from time to time on ebay though. I have also seen the kit somewhere on the web for i think it was 1100$. It might have been on modern muscle performance. Not really sure?

I will updating things via my Build thread in the members rides forum,if anyone is curious. The link is below:
