Inno Lowdown Crusier Box w/ Yakima Whisper Bar
I live in Edmonton, AB and in a condo with really low clearance. I have a 2011 Overland and after lowing it as low as possible I have 15" of clearance from the top of my rails to the underside of the garage door opening. I have measured the vehicle going in and out of the parked. It's when I leave that I have the lowest clearance of 15".

I want a box that I can leave on my vehicle while keeping in parked in the secure parkade. The only combination I have found that achieves this is the Yakima Whisper Bar along with the Inno Lowdown Cruiser. The Yakima Skybox Lopro is 2" too high.

ANyone have experience with Inno Racks and their boxes? They seem a bit flimsier than the Yakima but is only $50 cheaper. Seems like I have no choice as it's a fully enclosed box I want.

Thanks in advance!

I would be interested in knowing too, especially if the box interrupts the Sat. Radio signal....

Re: Inno Lowdown Crusier Box w/ Yakima Whisper Bar
did anyone end up doing this set-up? I found the same experience with the Yakima Lo (too long - they only do one 92" length in the Lo version). The Inno shadow 16 and shadow 15 Lo look the two best options, with the latter giving an even lower profile on what is already a low box. I also have Whispar bars (like the poster here). Anyone do this? Any advice/pics?

Well I went for it!!!! Got the whispbar with direct mount kit and the Inno Low Down Cruiser Box. At the shop where I got the box it became clear why many may have not purchased this box. The back of the box extended over the rear too far to allow the end-gate to open completely. There was room for the box to sit a few inches forward, but the slots in the bottom of the box that mounting hardware use to attach to the bars prevented it from moving forward. So to make it work it required altering the box and voiding the warranty. I considered some other boxes, but none were as low profile so I decided to take my chances and alter the box to make it work. Here it is on the Jeep....I am very happy with it and it fits in the garage :D!!!! With the crossbars and the box it looks like it sits about 12' from the chrome side rails to the highest point on the box. I have about 1/5" of clearance in my garage at a normal ride height.
