I am assuming you have 16" wheels if that is your Jeep in the signature. It has been said in many places that the biggest you can go is 265-70-16 that is assuming little to no offroad use and minor trimming to the inner fender. 245-75-16 seems to be widely used with a 2"bb for most people that plan on going off road or want a smooth ride with no hassle of trimming or worrying about rubbing while on the trail.

^^^^ What he said. Assume your running the same wheels as in your pic? I have the same wheels and just did a 2.5" front 2" rear lift with 245/75R16's and don't have any issues. Looks great and should still have room for offroading. The tires I used are actually a little bigger then normal because they are retreads. 265/70 will require trimming.

Rayray, I had a 99 wj limited with up-country option and put in the 2" bb (3.5") total lift and ran 265/75-16 BFG's with no contact problems or trimming. But the on road ride was comprimised for the worse. Also you'll want a cardon u-joint for your new driveshaft in the front. The stock driveshaft will not last very long when you start lifing the WJ.

Re: 2.5 inch Lift but what tires?
^^^ very true. I had to put in a new rear driveshaft for my 4 inch lift. Didnt make it 5k miles before it took a crap on me. Got mine from Carolina driveline (or driveshafts i cannot remember) VERY nice. every shaft is custom made for your specs. and got rid of the slip yolk. very easy to change out yourself.
