Power Front Seat Motor Problem
So randomly yesterday the right side of my drivers seat stopped moving when I tried to adjust my seat forward/back, left side moves but right is just locked in place so the seat ends up just turning.
I unscrewed the seat and looked underneath and it seems that the motor that is under the seat popped out of its position, and this small square screw/pin that I am assuming helps drive the seat on the right side broke in half.
I did a search but got no clear answers on this. Do I need to replace the entire motor, or can I buy just the screw/pin that broke?
My buddy at work said I might have to replace the entire frame that is under the seat because it all functions as one piece. I am hoping this is wrong.
Any help would be appreciated.
Re: Power Front Seat Motor Problem
For anyone who has this problem in the future, I found out that you just need to replace the seat motor, not the entire frame.
