Shift selector council cleaning
This morning, I was in a bit of a hurry to leave the house and had some of my drink (lemonade; don't ask) spill in the area where the shift selector is.
Fortunately - the spill size wasn't big, (maybe an ounce or so) but it had incredible aim, and when directly in the area where the gear selector is; and disappeared before I could get a napkin from the glove box to clean it. I tried to shove some paper towel with the vehicle in park to attempt to clean it: too late - it is sticky and it is going to bother the poo out of me.
So - anyone out there take this apart yet for cleaning (or any other) purposes? I am assuming that the shift "JEEP" handle has to come out - know how that comes out from previous threads: but want to get to the black trim below the cover to clean the lemonade's stickiness.
