egr and pcv valves
would it be ok to replace these valves with aftermarket products...say from advance auto or should I stick with oem parts? Not certain if there is much of a difference or not. Thanks in pun intended.

Re: egr and pcv valves
Haha well I have a Duralast EGR valve that I got from Autozone on my 2005 WK Hemi, and its worked just fine since I installed it last December. They don't have the PCV valve in stock for the Hemi (dealer only item) but I don't know if they do for the 4.7. But it's always best to stick with OEM parts as much as possible. I just didn't want to spend a lot of money at the time.

Re: egr and pcv valves
thanks billy. i know it's usually the rule to stick with oem parts....just thought maybe these particular parts might be an exception to the rule. im looking to save a few bucks...but might as well pay the extra for peace of mind.

Re: egr and pcv valves
If it helps the Duralast EGR valve cones with a warranty and I got it for $30 cheaper than at the dealer. Just saying.....
