Trinity Issues?

Bought a Trinity from Black Ops and as I'm sure many of you know, Chad is GREAT to deal with.
Plugged it into my computer and updated with all updates I could find.
Went to the Jeep, no dice:

Trinity dcx_gas does not support

Tool update might be available
I'll try calling Diablo tomorrow morning, but so far, nothing good to report.
Any one else have this problem?

Re: Trinity Issues?

mine keeps freezing up , ive emailed them Pmd mike and even sent a video of it playing up and have not heard a whisper for support of any kind.

i spent 20 mins having fun doing a log for johan for my tune and it froze as i went to save it so wasted my time and fuel on this faulty thing, then if i go just into the gauges part, once i flick through some screens of gauges it freezes.

any way i will ( but should not need to ) email them again.

Re: Trinity Issues?

Try erasing the injector pulse width PID's in the gauge layouts. They is a cylinder 1 and cylinder 2 so you have to erase both PIDs. that PID doesn't work any way see if it fixes your freezing problem while logging. Only other fix I have found to work is going back to the 1r10 crom but that won't work for you as it only goes up to '12 wk2. There is something wrong and there is multiple people complaining on the DS forum including me and there is no fix yet except to try erasing those PIDs I told you about. You have to do it quickly before it freezes took me a couple try's

Has anyone tried the B&G tuned pcm or had B&G flash there stock pcm to see if there having any problems? I have been to the challenger and charger sites when B&G 1ST CAME OUT WITH THERES AND THEY HAD NO PROBLEMS AND THEY WERE GETTING .2/.3 IMPROVEMENTS in the 1/4 mile . It seems since the trinity came out with tunes for the WK2 EVERYONE STOPPED GETTING THE B&G TUNES.

Re: Trinity Issues?

I loaded the 93 tune this weekend on my 2014. Had the same freezing issue when scrolling through the tuner monitoring gauges. The only gauge I even look at is the LT and ST knock gauges. Took me forever to figure out how to scroll to them without it freezing up. Found if you touch the screen at the top left it will take you to these gauges without freezing up.

Did a 0-60 launch last night after driving home to Long Island from PA (stop and go 6 hour drive); so car was really heated and roads were wet from melting snow. Surprised by the wheel spin and still matched my previous best time of 4.1 seconds. I did get about 3.5 to 4 degrees of ST knock and 1 degree of LT knock. Didn't impact the run much; I feel in the right conditions I should be able to get this under 4.0 second run. I feel the transmission shifts feel weird; they don't shift with the pulling intensity they did before - more could probably be done if they focused on this some more with upcoming updates.... Anybody else see the same thing and if so - did you custom change anything in the tune?
