Skid Plates
Hi Guys I have a limited however I didn't opt for the off road package. I was way over on the budget at time of purchase. I want to go 4wd in the sand dunes. Is it going to be a problem if I don't have skid plates. What Tyre pressure should I have on the 20 inch wheels?

Re: Skid Plates
Skid plates are important for rock and trail work as they stop you breaking things. Unless you are driving very fast can't see them being required in sand.

Tyre pressure 22 to 18. Less if you get stuck!

Can skid plates be installed afterwards in other words are there holes in the underbody for me to screw with no the plates at a later date.

Re: Skid Plates
Yes you can buy a 3 plate package, I believe they are pretty easy to fit.

Re: Skid Plates
I had mine fitted by the dealer prior to delivery rather than the factory off road 2 pack but to add to hickers comment I believe the holes are pre drilled. There is a how to thread in the us part of the forum if you search it.

Re: Skid Plates
Quite easy to install skid plates. You already have the holes and in most cases, the bolts too. There is a thread in the DIY section on how to install these.
