Is anyone Looking for a Chrome Shop?

Hey Guys and Gals, I run a a chrome shop in West Palm Beach Florida, and I'm pretty active on the boards here. I'm not looking for free advertising, or trying to slide around becoming a vendor so please don't flame me. I'm just trying to see if there is any interest on people chroming things on their Jeep. If there is, I will become a vendor in a heart beat.

I would suggest becoming a vendor that way you can post pics of things you have done. Doing chrome work your pics will tell the story .

This way to , you can post any specials you may run .

Yeah, I just have to show the shop owner that there is in interest before she will pay for it. She has not had much luck on the forums in the past, but that is mainly due to lack of management.

I am sure they will be a interest but we dont allow free advertising . Plus its hard to gauge interest if there isnt any pic or info on what is done and what costs are, Warranty info, etc.

The members here are very good at going to our Vendors for products before shopping outside. You must become a vendor before any additional talk of selling or advertising your products or services. :)

I think you would have better luck if you had some part or piece that made sense to be chromed, recovery hooks or some other under carriage part that since it is chrome doesnt collect as much muck and would then be usefull and beutiful. Then become an advertiser, spot one or two prominent members a part to test and see what happens. There are never guarantees in advertising but the closer you can get to the customer the better off you are. AND I always like to buy stuff my buddies are recommending.

I am sure you could come up with a plan working with the sysops here to promote several products. This would be good for the forum and good for your shop.

Like I said. I'm not looking for free advertising or anything like that. I haven't mentioned my shop name, or prices or even shown any if the items that my shop has done. I'm not trying to solicit work at all, I'm just trying to figure out if there is a desire for chrome work on Jeeps, and no we don't do plastic.

I get that brother. What I am saying is you could create some demand by figuring out a specific part or set of parts that we might like, maybe something you have done with yours? That would likely help you create the interest to support your advertising. People get jammed up when they have to many choices.

You might generate some interest, if you gave an example of items on a WK that can be chromed, or plated. For example maybe the shop is capable of doing rims, or intake tubes, throttle bodies, etc. Nickel plating (black chrome) possible?

A lot of people try and get rid of their chrome on WK's...

The biker market is always crazy for chrome especially Harleys

maybe put this in a more general area ,not wk. I'm sure you'd get more interest for Wranglers, cj's, etc. I always thought about Chroming the upper radiator support for my XJ.
