srt wheels
I was thinking about when I change up my wheels in the future for something new and I thought about turning my black srt reps into polished ones like the oem srt8 wheels. Anyone done this or think it would turn out nice on the srt reps

Re: srt wheels
You will prolly be better off selling them and buying the reg srt reps.

Re: srt wheels
you just need to find a good wheel repair shop to refinish them. The black SRT reps are just black finished wheels

Re: srt wheels
I haven't seen any srt reps being sold that are polished aluminum ,nhw, only seen chrom, black and gray

Re: srt wheels
yep...they dont sell polished becasue its probably an expensive finish on cast wheels

Re: srt wheels
Are you tired of the black wheels already?

Re: srt wheels
no im not hemi, i dont even have them on. I just think it would look cool with polished ones, i definitly wont do that for awhile though. i looked it up on the net and saw some people saying they had it done to theirs for like a 115 a wheel, which they thought was kind of expensive but they did really good work. So it would probably be around 400-450 to do

Re: srt wheels
Nice. What about doing tinted tails? What do you have planned next?

Re: srt wheels
well im just waiting for my bilstein shocks to come in the mail, i purchased them yesterday. Ive been wanting to improve the ride since I bought it, I think the shocks are wore out. I know they havent been replaced at all on it since it was new and it has 53,500 miles.

Re: srt wheels
but I think as far as future mods. I will probably do these shocks, get new LED interiors, and then polish the wheels in a year or so. As of right now thats all i have planned. I dont want to tint the tails because its illegal, same with the front windows.

Re: srt wheels
Motteler: I advise that if you want to go to the polished route, sell the black reps and buy the polished. Its going to cost a lot of money to get them done. And in all seriousness, if you plan on selling the wheels anytime soon and I mean seriously let me know.

Re: srt wheels'll be your best bet to sell black reps, and buy some OEM polished wheels. I have OEM SRT's on mine that I will part with for the right price.
