Real world cargo space.

Son needed help moving a TV and asked if there was enough room. Tailgate closes just fine. Suspect could easily handle something even bigger.

Any one have other examples of just what fits in the GC ?

That's helpful information. What's with the bug spray?

Nice. No pics, but we put a twin size box spring and mattress in our WK. We had to move the seats up, but they fit with the tailgate closed.

I just stuffed a Fraser Fur Christmas tree in mine. The bottom stump was sitting on the armrest upfront, but I was able to get the whole thing in with the gate closed. I lined everything I could with a tarp before I put it in, and vacuumed up the needles. I didn't want to scratch the roof. Sorry, no pics though, I never thought of posting it, I just did it out of necessity. Cheers!

I fit four 20" wheels and 4 255/50/20 tires in back unmounted.

Two large dogs in their crates, big bag of dog food, and enough stuff for two weeks in the OBX, including two folding beach chairs, duffel bags, large telescope in case, fishing gear, various groceries, etc...

220 pieces of wood (yes, honestly)

Cases and cases of stuff for my business. Think the max was about 45 cases of stuff but that was packed to the gills and even the front seat.

Three 4x8 pieces of plywood (although I did have to use a tie down for the back liftgate)

I can get 8 race wheels/tires in with the seats down (these are large, 18x10 and 18x11). In the picture, carried two wheels inside, with 1 weeks worth of luggage and some food and beverages.

Sadly this was the trip the QL bit the dust for the last time.

20 bags of 40# topsoil easily fit behind the rear seat, and still level with the top of the seat backs (you can still see out).

(3) 12' treated 4x4s fit -- but you'll need the rear window open. Luckily, I'm only 3 mi from Home Depot:

Thankfully, I now have a new Ram, so I no longer have to haul such items in the Jeep. I hauled a lot in the GC last spring -- when I was building my shed. It did well, and nothing was damaged in the process.

I wish I would have snapped a photo of the load I brought back from Florida when my parents were moving from their single home of 30 years to an assisted living community this past August. Seats down, rear completely full not unlike in the photo that Webspoke shows in post #7 (although not piled quite as high) and also the whole front passenger foot-well and seat. I musta looked like someone living in their car as I drove north... :p

Not nearly what my Expedition could hold. Something like 24 bales of pine straw, 10' long lumber, a fully assembled Weber grill, or 7 high school athletes and their gear.
