Thinking of wrapping headliner

So I'm thinking of wrapping the headliner with black suede. The only thing that's stopping me is the retractable shade piece. Does anybody know if the material of the shade can be removed and replaced with suede?

Black ops did this. I believe he covered the headliner and dyed the roll cover.

Ok thanks. I was thinking about dyeing it instead. Makes it easier I guess.

I saw the Facebook post where they mentioned they did one with a suede headliner. With my break from school coming up I may just take off the headliner to see what the retractable piece looks like. Then I can decide if its possible to just change the material of the slide or dye it.

the retractable piece is on a roll like a shade in your house. It cant be covered because it has super tight tolerances.

Well that's answers my big question. Thanks a lot.
