Passenger side seat bottom

I've got a 13 Laredo e package no leather. The other night while driving my girlfriend notice that the passenger side seat bottom moves up and down. If I push on the front where your legs would be the back end of it lifts up. Idk if this is normal or has any thing to do with an air bag sensor. Anyone else have this problem

Doesnt the front seat fold flat on that model? Maybe it's just how that mechanism works.

Yeah the front seat does fold flat. It could be me being OCD

As I don't have the fold-flat seat I'm no expert on how tight the whole thing should be, but I would imagine there are some hinges that have to be there for that fold-flat operation and that may be all your noticing. Maybe mention it next time you are at the dealership but it doesn't sound like something you'd need to fix ASAP.

Yes this is normal on the front of the cushion is attached to the seat frame with clamps and bushings like a sway bar.

But is should not move that freely but is does move. The power adjusted seats have attached the same way as well.

I hope this answers your question.
