new vic roads rules for mods
Just saw this the other day vic roads has a new guide for modifications to motor vehicles. In section 13.3 raising 4wd vehicles -alternative to vsb 14 modification code LS . now allows for a combination of suspension lift and larger diameter tyres that result in a total lift of up to 75mm without the need for testing and certification normally by VSB14 required for lifts above 50mm provided certain requirements are met . For those interested they may wish to check out the vehicle standards section on the vic roads web site
Might be worth while checking how that relates to vehicles with electronic stability control, I know in the NT if your vehicle has e.s.c you can not even put larger tyres on, let alone a lift with out an engineering cert to say it has had no adverse effect on stability control.

Re: new vic roads rules for mods
They say that tyres should not be increased more than 15 mm over oe specs but still check with your manufacturer. Also while I've got your attention taking the grand back to airflow in January they are going to have it for the day and strip back all the linings to check for alternative routes for the snorkel no promises but Michael said he would be back on deck late in January could he have the car then .
Hope you and your family Have a great Christmas and a prosperous new year .
thanks for your time Sparky60
Good to hear they haven't given up on the snorkel
Merry Xmas and happy new year to you too
