Help again

there are 2 heater hoses should both be hot or one be hot and one be cold when engine is hot and heater is running on

Re: Help again

I believe they should both be warm ( or hot) . the heater core , isnt that efficient to cause one hot and the other cold .

There might be a slight difference in there temp but I dont know about "cold"

Re: Help again

Since both heater hoses are hot, it seems that coolant is flowing through them. Then there are 2 posibilities left, or the heater performance is bad (ie kettlestone fixed on the inner walls, making it difficult to transfer the heat from the coolant to the air), or the blend door(s) doesn´t move. I forgot if you have the manual or automatic AC system. You said that the blend door was checked, but did you check if the actuator also moves and that it takes the door with it? For the manual system, the only actuator is hidden behind the glove box door. Remove the door and check if the actuator moves when you move the temperature selector knob. If ok, remove the actuator and move the door by hand. It should move freely and not bind. There should be some resistance though, of the door itself.

when you flushed your heater core what did you use? i blew mine out, then ran water though it... was dirty yes... but after i let CLR sit in there for 5 min and then flushed it again a TON of crap came out... that would be my recomendation
