Left from the Pottsville, PA area for DC today around after lunchtime. Probably should've left earlier but we had to wait for something and plus... it was fun!!!

It was around here that our fancy GPS decided to reroute us due to traffic information. After about 20 miles, we took a detour off the beaten path and had a little fun to get to a different Interstate (few pics down):

Great pictures, thanks for sharing.

What drive train do you have on your GC and what drive mode were you using?

Re: Driving through the snow today in PA (PIC Heavy!)

The wider tires on the 20" handled well. Definitely want to get a set of 18"s and put some AT's on them for the future. I like to offroad and don't want this overland to keep me on the road lol. One thing I did notice is that when I would switch lanes, going from the rutted tire tracks to the raised in between would push a little on the wheels. I think a narrower tire would "cut" through a little better. Nothing a little oversteering couldn't compensate though. All in all, the computer did a great job controlling power to the wheels.

I kept it on "Snow" mode most of the way. When it started raining a lot and the roads had no more slush, I switched to auto.

On a side note...

Along the way, I would occasionally test braking and accelerating. I think the braking was a little poor due to the tires. The acceleration wasn't too bad though. It was pretty cool to punch it in the snow and see this heavy suv move.
