Question for True Blue owners.

I'm leaning towards getting a True Blue WK2. How high maintenance is this color? Does it show dirt and/or scratches easily? If you had to do it all over again would you still pick the color? :)

Ive only had mine for 5 months so no scratches yet. It shows dirt but it's not as bad as black. Although it looks black in some light or in the dark. That being said i'm not anal about keeping it clean and shiny. I like it clean but mother nature seems to like it dirty. I like the True Blue and would do it again.

I have true blue and love it! I was coming off a silver car, and wanted something dark. I originally was only shopping for black or mineral grey, but changed my mind right at the dealership when I saw the true blue with the saddle leather interior. It goes the best with the saddle in my opinion :) And as other members have said, it does look black in certain light and dirt does show. I always tend to describe it as the color if you were looking at blue ink--looks black but when the light hits it you get that dark blue color. Overall, would buy the color again if had to redo it.

True blue is as high maintenance as you want it to be...

Cant say anything about scratches and such yet. Though I did notice several imperfections in the factory paint. Like very faint bumps. And true blue is one of those colors that just calls to you!

Thanks all. This is what I'm hoping.

I'm actually not anal about appearances, and so I don't think I'll care if it looks a little dirty. My main concern actually is that this color will require constant washing in order to prevent people (including myself) from saying "wow, that looks filthy, that guy really does not take care of his car" when they look at it... ;)

Thanks! Yeah, I agree, that dirt looks fitting on the Jeep.

I've still got time so I'm still thinking about it. I'm not a big fan of the traditionally "easier to keep looking clean" colors like the whites, silvers, grays, etc. I don't hate them, and I love the WK2 in all the colors. It's just that they don't really "speak" to me quite as much. Hopefully I won't live to regret that... I guess only time will tell.

My other choice besides True Blue would probably be Maximum Steel, which I haven't seen in real life yet. I'll hit the local dealership this weekend when they're closed and see if I can check it out. :)

I have True Blue and love, love, LOVE it! I get compliments all the time on the color. It does show dirt/dust but I think slightly less than black, and I never feel that my Jeep looks bad, even when dirty. It is a beautiful vehicle.
I agree with GELOverland.... the saddle interior looks amazing with true blue. Very happy with my decision.

Is it me or at first glance does the front fascia look like it missing some parts!
