Need Some Help
So on the 26th I drove to MD from CT and went through the hell of a mess the Jersey turnpike was with snow then rain and traffic. But my lows were good the whole time. when I left the next day from MD to FL my lows would not come on. I thought I would make it in enough time not to worry about my headlights but unfortunately their was traffic in VA, NC, and SC in the 2 days of driving which should've taken me about 15 hours ended up taking me close to 24. so when I crossed the line in GA it was dark and drove the last 2.5 hours with my brights on, feeling like a total asshole to all the other drivers. anyway I finally got around to checking out the lights today I pulled out the ballast opened them up and corrosion all over the inside. I thought DDM was a decent company and wouldn't have an issue but I guess I was wrong. I have found this on amazon D1S / D1R OEM Replacement HID Xenon Ballast Controller XLD 988 XenDrive 35W: Automotive
I think this is my best choice does anyone have any other ideas.

Re: Need Some Help
Do you have the relay harness with your hid setup? Reason I'm asking is because I had the same thing happen with my hid's and it ended up being a bad relay on the harness instead of the ballasts.

Where did you have the ballasts mounted at btw?

Re: Need Some Help
I've changed the relays checked all the wiring ring out all cables I'm getting power to the ballasts but no ignition I have the ballast mounted right behind the headlight on the beam

Re: Need Some Help
Thats odd that both ballast took a dump at the same time. Have you put the stock bulbs back in without any problems?
