Wk2 moved overnight

I woke up this morning (New Years Day) and my Jeep looked awfully close to my truck. Apparently overnight, the Jeep slid into the back of the salt spreader on my f350. No damage at all. Why did it move. The driver side wheels where on snow and the passenger side tires where on dry pavement.

Did ya have a bit of the spirits last night? Lol

You sure the 350 didn't slid into the jeep?

If I had gone out last night I would have been second guessing myself, but those days are long passed.

Was the parking brake engaged? If not, I've seen them move when one wheel is on Ice and that wheel loses traction and slides. Park will keep the engine from turning, but doesn't keep axles from turning, especially with open axles and transfer case. Happens on a 2WD car too.

Someone could have hit and run, bumped into one car or the other and pushed them together.

I have no idea why it happened, but I hate when that happens.

Nobody hit the vehicles, I guess the open diff makes sense.
I guess it is my fault for not doing a better job plowing my own driveway.

I dont think its possile for an auto tranny to allow your Jeep to roll forward because of an auto interlock. Now...there is some space after you shift to park that the truck will move to get to that interlock...ONLY if your on a slight incline. Park on an incline, place it in Park, let your foot off the brake...and youll notice it roll forwrad or backward just a hair depending on which way the inclines goes. Couldve been that with this situation.

One of your kids took it out while you were sleeping.
