Nope...and for good reason: Safety. The center of gravity raised up that high isn't something that Jeep wants to promote at speeds higher than when they kick in the auto-down function.

You can put it in OR2 then hold both buttons (up/down) and it will disable the system from moving if you needed to work under it, but I would still use jack stands.

I think he want's to lock it and drive it like that lol. But yes, you are right Berk. For maintenance purposes, raise the suspension to the wanted level and then press both the up/down button and hold. It will disable the Jeep from adjusting trying to level itself while you are under it. ALWAYS put jack stands under as a precaution. I don't know about you but I don't want my Jeep to "Sit" on me lol.

The system will return to normal after you drive it over 5MPH after that I believe.

As far as locking it in OR2 and driving over 15MPH, it ain't happenin yet. No fix.

Actually up to 25 MPH in OR2, and up to 39 MPH in OR1.

Strange... I have had the same question!....

When we are on "Safari" in the Kruger, it's nice to have the vehicle sitting up higher and up to speeds of around 50km/h MAX!. but regular cruising speed then would be around 30km/h. Catch being if you go over it drops, and you need to lift it up again. I dont like this constant changing of the ride hight. It makes me wonder about the durability of the Air suspension.

PSS.. I noted that the compressor on is a Made in Germany one!!.

Yes, I am having trouble because I live way in the north and all the salt and ice gets built up in the wheel wells and makes it so I can't steer because the rims and tires are so massive is yes i understand the dealer said... (Stock 20"s are to big?!) but if we can keep the jeep raised up...we won't have that problem anymore...there's no chip that can be removed?

It wouldn't matter what rim/tire combo you have if it is stock. They all have the same overall size be it 17's/18's/20's. I havent had any trouble with snow buildup (and I upsized my tires) but I've only had one snowstorm to drive in. I would think driving in OR2 would be fairly annoying after a while as it really doesn't leave much room before the bump stops. The only other suggestion I could offer would be to look into spraying something on the wheel well liners to try and fight the snow sticking and building up.

Re: Air Suspension Lock?! ASAP!

It kinda bugs me when the "safety" card gets played with regard to locking the ride height. The reason why I think that is kinda bogus is b/c there are factory lift kits. If any other jeep can constantly drive at that height, why shouldn't the air suspension allow you do so as well?

Granted, things need to be within reason, but that should be up to the driver.

I too would like the ability to drive at a lifted, or lowered, height at higher speeds than what is available today. Aside from pulling the fuse and being semi-stuck in park mode, there aren't any available options.

My current hope is now that there are tuners out, eventually they will allow for adjustments. Then again, I am not going to hold my breath b/c most are looking for broad adoption. There aren't a a whole lot of vehicles on the road using this exact air suspension so it wouldn't be worth their time.
