Noticed my 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland with the Hemi that has about 36k miles on it was leaking coolant. Took it to the dealership and they diagnosed it was a water pump. This was on Monday they told me with the holiday it was going to be Thursday before they got the part. I got a call today saying they can't find a water pump they are back ordered with Chrysler and it could be 6 weeks before they get a replacement. I am now driving around in a piece of crap Jeep liberty not sure when I will get my Overland back.
Any suggestions on where I can find a water pump would be greatly appreciated I have called a couple of dealers and they are telling me the same thing it is back ordered with Chrysler and they are not sure when it will be in.
I have also opened a ticket with Jeep directly to see if that will get it taken care of quicker.
I love the Grand Cherokee but it is unbelievable that they don't have a water pump readily available.
