05 Liberty CRD - Odometer Quit, + ABS Light
Iíve seen other posts on several of the Jeep forums regarding this problem, but I havenít had any luck finding a fix. The odometer on my wifeís 2005 Liberty KJ CRD stopped working last week. Along with that, the ABS light is on continuously. At first, the tire pressure warning light was on as well, and, the right-front tire light on the overhead console was flashing, though it had the same pressure as the others (around 26-27.) Then, after 50-100 miles, the pressure warning light went out and the tire light stopped flashing as well, though no air had been added. Furthermore, the temperature sensor on the overhead console is not working, either, (it almost continuously reads 30-degrees,) though it would seem to me that itís two separate issues that happened coincidentally? Based on what Iíve seen, I thought it could be either the wire on the sensor on top of the rear differential housing, or a wire at the right-front wheel. However, I havenít noticed any bare wire or anything, though I could have missed it? Iíd like to avoid taking it to a shop, or dealer, if at all necessary, but Iíd like to get it fixed, too Ė especially the odometer/ABS thing. Does anyone have any ideas??? HELP!!! One other asideÖ Iíd like to get a tuned chip to help fuel mileage and performance. From what Iíve seen, it appears that Green Diesel Engineering is the best one out there? Iím willing to invest $500.00 if itís really worth it. Any feedback/ideas on that, too? Thanks!
