can you stack 2 inch spacers with a 4 inch lift kit? would there be any problems with this?

Hacksaw 01-11-2013 09:54 PM

I'm no expert but from what I've seen you would have trouble keeping the spacers together, then there is the transfer case issue just from the 4" lift.

Re: lift
Yes it can, and has been done, but you can expect alot of other issues: alignment, very little suspension droop travel front and rear, high wear on cv axles, stability control interveening excessively.

Re: lift
i want to have a high lift. i want atleast 6 inches but its hard to find it for an 08 wk thats not crazy expensive.

Hacksaw 01-15-2013 05:59 PM

It's crazy expensive because it needs to be done right. Many things come into play when you go up in the air. Everything needs to be heavier, thicker, welded better designed better. Think about it this way you are trusting your life to this system do you really want to go with the lowest bidder ?

Re: lift
youre asking for nothing but problems stacking componenets..

look at omelet's build. if you want that much lift.. just follow along his build thread.. its long but make sure you read it all.

or just pony up 5K for a 6 or 8 inch lift from 4xguard that are coming out.

Re: lift
Stacking on the SL is like putting a BB on the stock suspension. You can do it but only time will tell what kind of wear and tear it will cause on your front end.
