Radiator and condenser replacement

What is the best place to buy a replacement radiator and condenser from for a JGC I6 2 WD? I will be needing to replace my radiator for sure and would like to get 1 from a reputable place. I checked advance auto and the biggest complaint I saw for their replacements was the leaky transmission fluid due to poor fittings. If there is a place of recommendation I would greatly appreciate it. What is the average cost of installing a new radiator and condenser?

Check www.justforjeeps.com (JG vendor and I believe members get a discount) and you can get an oem or rockauto.com is good or a site I just stumbled on moparpartsoverstock.com (but I haven't ordered from them yet) good luck !

Think Outside !- No Box Required.

Awesome, thank you for the quick response. Do you know if condensers are universal for these radiators?

BUY OEM, i can not say this enough... i went aftermarket and it leaked... they sent me a replacemetn... leaked... now they will nto respond to my emails. I know several guys that have done the radiatior replacement... only ones that hold up still are the stock OEM.

I have every intention of getting an OEM Radiator, I don;t like dealing with hassle either.

I bought my radiator from Oriellys and haven't had a problem in over 2 years with transmission fluid leaking. Check rockauto.com, they have pretty good deals.

Re: Radiator and condenser replacement

personally i would never use the stock trans cooler lines again, i did a write up of how to install an aftermarket trans cooler, if you are doing the raditor i would HIGHLY sugest just doing this at the same time, the stock fittings suck if you ask me and are stupid $ if you over tighen them, $35 and you can get better cooling with a larger aftermarket trans cooler. there are some great write ups online for doing the swap, the #1 thing i always forget is to be sure you unplug your fog lights... i have had my bumper in my hands now 2x's when removing it and the fog still plugged in... hahahaha you get real creative to support the bumper while trying to unplug them! for bleeding the radiaor all i did was put it in my driveway and drove it up on drive on stands, let it run a while and then would bleed it as i went... worked great... while you have the radiator off you may also want to give your heater core a good flush and replace your serpantine belt as it is super easy to do while the radiator is out of the way! also to unplug the passanger side headlight i cut a small access hole you can see this hole in the first pic... that is all i can think of all hand, taking your time your looking at 3-4 hours

trust me it is a blast!
