Cold air intake and cat back exhaust additions

Has anyone had any experience adding one or both of these to your WJ to try to gain some HP and MPGs?

I've noticed no increase in MPG, but have noticed a bit more "go". I've got a K&N FIPK, a bored throttle body, and a Magnaflow muffler...the rest of the exhaust is stock.

I have a CAI, K&N cone, ported and polished TB, and Thrush high flow muffler (stock system other than that) the difference at the peddal is NIGHT and day... MPG, not really a change when i first did it i was getting about 1 - 2 MPG better but then it leveled off... i noticed better gas milage more witht the fuel filter replacement hahaha but as far as seat of the pants power, i am very pleased with these changes

I agree, makes a difference but only adds a couple more mpg.
