Overall
I don't like what they did to the exterior, the current head and taillights look better IMO
The new SRT wheels don't suit the SRT, they look more of a Laredo or overland wheels and also an old design. Current wheels look much better.
The interior is the most welcome upgrade + the new 8 speed tranny.

Agree. SRT bumpers and grill are fine, but the other models look terrible and cheap, especially the chrome one (Overland?). New steering wheel is a downgrade in looks and the shifter handle is awful, looks like an old man's cane. Gauges and radio look great. Also, as much as we wanted new 5 spoke wheels, not digging those either, spokes are too big and chubby.

Will there be optional wheels on SRT or this is it ? What the hell with new shifter ..is this the only design they could think about the shifter ?
Where is the supercharge SRT ?

the headlights look too busy with the leds in the bumper, they should have gotten rid of one or the other. the wheels, too plain, wk1 wheels are aggressive these look like they should be on the base model. the exterior its blah the interior however is worth the upgrade!
i wanted to see 0-60 and 1/4 mile times

for the SRT, I like the headlights/tailights actually, also like black headliner, 8-speed, larger nav screen, instrument cluster, and launch control. don't like wheels and shifter. that being said, remodeled SRT looks better than other models....

The headlight leds on the srt are only on in park. The bumper leds have 2 levels of brightness

Meaning they turn off when the headlights turn on? Well that sucks :)

Scottina06 01-14-2013 11:45 AM

Yes or in drive they are off

But I just watched the Limited and Summit B roll footage and it sure looks like the LED DRL's in the headlights are on while both the headlights and fog lamps are on.

This can't just be on the SRT is it? That doesn't make sense since the headlight DRL's add so much to SRT presence.

Scottina06 01-14-2013 12:00 PM

Yes...just srt because of the bumper leds

Thanks for the confirmation Scott! Can't imagine it being too difficult of a mod to enable them to stay on.... :)
