People ordering new Jeeps in Colorado -- Please Reply

Hey guys, I'm in Denver planning on ordering a 2014... I've found at least 2 others on here with the same plan. Let's all get together and maybe we can get together to order with 1 dealer and get maybe 2% under invoice or more?

Please respond if you are interested, and also if you have talked to any dealers and would recommend any.

I am nearest to Colorado Jeep on Havana in Aurora, which seems to have decent reviews, but I haven't talked to them.

Based on reviews alone, the best dealers seem to be in CO Springs (Perkins or Faricy Boys).

My email is jlantis@comcast.net -- feel free to shot me an email too, I would be glad to approach the dealers and get everything set up for us.

Faricy Boys was great to deal with - best dealership of all I tried in the Denver/Colorado Springs metro area by far.

Don't have much to add here, but am in Denver and considering a '14 JGC

I went by Centennial on Arapahoe for a test drive of the '13 but had pretty limited discussions. They salesman I worked with (Todd Pineau) was super knowledgeable and passionate about jeeps, but as soon as I heard about the '14 I've just been waiting. I bought my last new car through a broker last year, which was super convenient and a good enough deal. Not sure about preorder via a broker however.

Why don't you all just order them from Pat...he gives the 2% below invoice that you want to JG members with the affiliate number (easy to get from employer affiliation or via orgs like Tread Lightly)...

Solid advice for sure, but since there are about 33 Jeep dealers in Colorado and Southern Wyoming, thought I'd give it a try to see if there's a Pat at one of them.

I bought my Altitude in July from GO JEEP WEST in Golden. MSRP was $39,810, I paid $33,819 (almost $6k off). Also included 4 free oil changes / tire rotations and the wheel locks.

I worked with Fred A. and he was a pretty cool guy - he even explained that he'll try to "work" with the Sales Manager on any price you give him, because he only makes $200 per vehicle no matter what it is sold for (and once he hits x-amount of vehicles per month, he gets a bonus for each vehicle). What I'm getting at is you can say "I want to pay X-amount" and he'll walk over to the desk and try to get the Sales Manager to agree. The Sales Mgr might not agree, but he had no problem trying to go back and forth with her.

Also when you buy a vehicle from them you are invited to some luncheon / dinner thing, where all recent customers and the Sales folk all get to hang out and eat for free. I didn't end up going to it, but it was at least another nice "gesture".

I went to a few others and they couldn't match the price that I got (Faricy, Centennial Jeep, GO Southwest, etc.).

I second Go West in Golden. As for Gary Butler. He gave me a great deal for my Jeep, but it was robbed from him by Go Broadway (which where I bought mine since they lowered the price further from what Gary was giving me). So, I brought Gary another customer who got a very nice deal. Definitely recommend Gary Butler at Go West!

Cheers,
Aiyer.

I would love to order from Pat but it would cost $800 to ship here, essentially making it 1% above invoice... I was hoping if we get 3 or 4 guys to go in together we could get a dealer to match the 2% under invoice from Pat.

Please email me if you are in Colorado and plan to order within the next 4 or so months! jlantis@comcast.net

Well...you might catch a cheaper flight out of DEN, pick it up from Pat and enjoy a nice drive home! It was a thought.... :D

Well, last year, when I was in the market... I PM'ed Pat and got no response. I might have emailed him too IIRC. :)

I have been in touch with Pat, so am still considering that. But flying out an driving 15 hours is gonna have some expenses as well, and its just a big PITA if I can get the same deal locally. That is why I was hoping to partner up with 3 or 4 other guys :)

Jamesla, I applaud your efforts and hope you can pull this off. Unfortunately, IME our fine state gets premiums for SUV's, particularly the most popular and latest models. See the SRT8 window stickers on all Denver area Jeep dealer showrooms with added "$10K market premium" written in sharpie pen, aka overt price gouging.

Not kidding: http://www.jeepgarage.org/f97/squeez...ver-37495.html

As much as I would like to see a Pat Fields in CO, not sure it's possible. Hope you prove otherwise.
