My computer says 13.7 mpg combined. 80% highway, 20% driving the piss out of it.

i think the general consensus is if it matters its not the vehicle for you

ofcourse it matters...its not a super car thats meant for the weekend. Its a very powerful every day utility vehicle.

So 18.9 with mainly highway driving?

If you can afford a 65-70k truck, the difference in gas between 12mpg and 16mpg shouldnt be a factor. If the thousand dollars in gas is a factor, you should be looking at other vehicles.

be safe to say on avg you will be filling up atleast once a week if i get a combined average of 14mpgs in my 05 hemi with CAI tune and exhaust, while driving it to get the best mpgs.

only highway i get good gas mileage
at 70mph with mds i get around 17mpg
at 60-65 i get 19mpg
at 60 exactly, 21mpg

in the new ones i can expect a few minor tweaks of efficiency, but being a srt, you will get 11-14mpgs if you mainly drive city

good idea to have a 2nd car to use for commuting to save gas and wear & tear

I have 13,000 miles on mine and I would say my combined mpg is no better than 16 mpg. Most likely closer to 14 mpg.

My advice to you, buy a V6.
