Accessory belt

Vehicle is due for its 62500 mile service and requires the above part to be changed. I have never heard of this belt although on my Toyota there was a belt for the air conditioning.
Can any one clarify? Thanks.

i believe this is the serpentine belt that drives the air conditioner, alternator, etc.

I was looking at mine the last time I changed the oil. It looks like replacing it could be slightly challenging. Has anyone here replaced one?

Quite correct and not something for the faint hearted DIY person to attempt!

Yep thats correct most cars replace them around the 100,000k kms area.
Make sure you do it - could be expensive if you don;t

It's really easy on my 06 4.7 I changed mine at 55,000 will probably change it soon again, just make a diagram on how it goes on, be careful not to put it in backwards.
