gear. I have to pull over. Stop. And put it in park and then put it back in drive. What's up with that?

Also, does anyone know if the 2011 jeeps will ever allow the ipod to be heard through the car system. I have heard that this is an apple issue, and they need to fix it. I'm confused on this.

Sounds like you are pulling the gearshift to the left as it drops into the D slot which puts you in 1st gear. If that is the case you can "bump" the gearshift to the right to go up 1 gear at a time or you can push the gearshift to the right and hold it 2 seconds and it will go back into Drive. Try that and see if it works. Can't help with the iPod.

If in Drive there will be a "D" in the EVIC (between the tach and speedo), if in manual mode, there will be a number.
