Off-Road Tips Required....

Hello friends,

I wanted to find a solution to the problem I face with my JGC 2012 model when going off road. I am not sure about the tire pressure to maintain and how to tackle the front approach angle being too acute. Any solutions found previously will be of great help
Thank you
Badr

in general lowering air pressure is only needed when in loose sand or rock crawling (assumeing youre not rock crawling) in loose sand i used to drop my pressure to about half normal pressure (dont forget you will need a way to reair the tires afterwards

as far as approach angle when in doubt, G.O.A.L. Get Out And Look

thanks Kennzz05

well I was mainly looking for solution for the desert sand. Yes G.O.A.L. is possible if you can get down and check but when you need to climb the dune you have to hit it at speed and how the suspension reacts will have to be seen if I can get away without wrecking the front of the JGC.

Take off your front spoilers, or you will leave them somewhere in the sand, and drop tire pressure to about 15, make sure you have a compressor to pump up again, it will then go most anyware, on Western Australian beaches anyway..

Thanks Nigel, Is it easy to remove the front fenders. Coz last time I went to the desert I was hit a couple of times and was concious of losing the fender and hence had to drive really slow. If it is just clip system probably I can manage removing it when going to the desert.
