Re: Problems

Which engine? P0442 and P0456 indicate an evap leak. Could be fuel cap or one of the hoses running around the rear axle.
The 13 code, was that a DTC 13, or an P0013?

Re: Problems

Its normal for the evap solenoid to make a clicking sound. The PCM pulses this solenoid and you can hear it from inside the cabin. If no leaks at the lines under the jeep, it can be leaking close to the evap reservoir behind the left rear wheel . Reset the codes first and see if they come back.

Re: Problems

Shake the fuel cap and listen for rattle, or slap it face down in the palm of your hand to see if any debris breaks loose from the cap and lands in your hand. If either happens, your fuel cap is shit.. The WJ also had a common evap vacuum line leak on the lines above the fuel tank and to the left side of the tank where the canister is located.. Usually have to remove the rear bumper fascia to access the canister..
