Viper wheels

I've searched and searched, and had no luck on cherokeesrt8... Just wondering if anyone has a different answer on this board.

ANYONE make 20" Viper rims for a 2008 SRT Jeep (that fit with the stock Brembos)?

I saw a photoshopped picture a while back and can't sleep at night until I have them!

factory reproductions make the viper reps. the do NOT work on the SRT's and the arent even close. there is a company called Rodtana that made a set for a member here. very expensive, one off though.

Yeah Scott, I remember contemplating a whole day on what finish I wanted on the wheels. I finally decided on black and was ready to purchase I called FR to hear they wouldn't fit my Jeep. Their website still confuses people, not sure why they don't just add "Non-SRT" in front of the Jeep Viper wheel link? Talk about a buzzkill, ha!

Re: Viper wheels

I tried to fit my 20" Viper reps from my 05 laredo onto my 06 srt8, knowing full well that they wouldn't fit, but just to satisfy my own curiosity. The back fits just fine, the front would require a 3/4" spacer to clear the calipers. I cobbled something together, just to check to see and with the wheel an extra 3/4" out from the hub, the rims stick out from the fender about 1/4". So theoretically you could run some spacers but nobody that i've found makes a 3/4" spacer for that bolt pattern, plus some people don't trust spacers. I've never had an issue, but some are very cautious.

Re: Viper wheels

Yeah a 3/4" spacer is HUGE. I wouldn't want to use that, then I'd have problems getting the alignment correct (it's lowered too).

You successfully did this?

Re: Viper wheels

No, not succesfully, lol. I used (3) 1/4" spacers i had kicking around. Wasn't able to put a lugnut on, but it allowed me to see how it fit.

I have 1.5" spacers that i used with my 05 when i had the lift on it, and never had a problem with them. I think it's important to use a good quality brand name and Locktite on the threads to make sure they don't come loose.
