Sounds after replacing steering pump

Hey Guys whatsupp!! I just replaced my power steering pump for my 2005 jeep grand cherokee. After i replaced the pump the steering wheel is amazing, the annoying sounds after turning the steering wheel is gone. And its all smooth and up and running. However every single time i press the gas and the rpm goes to 3000 revs per minute and so forth. It makes this whinning noise that i dont understand after replacing the pump. I checked the steering fluid and it was ok, but then the sound is just so annoying :( i cant hear my engine roaring at 4000 rpm any more because of this weired sound coming after i replaced the pump. Please guys if you can help it would be nice!! But then from 500-2500 RPM theres no noise or just little noise but as soon as you increase the RPM the sound gets really loud :confused: Any help would be appreciated!!

sounds like a faulty pump or you have air in the system still. Do you have any other
P/S, leaks anywhere? air can get in that way.

My PS pump was noisy in my 05 GC, up until it failed. My replacement was just as noisy until it failed a week later and sprayed ps fluid all over my engine compartment, and the third one I got was noisy too, but did seem to quiet down somewhat after about a weeks worth of driving. Maybe give it a little time to break if the noise persists exchange it for another, but they do seem to be inherently noisy.

Could also be the serpentine belt slipping. Perhaps it had some ps fluid or something transferred to it when you were putting it back on?

I went to the mechanic just a few hours ago, all they say was "its not their fault" i hate it when the mechanics just try to pretend its not their fault if anything goes wrong. I found out that the fan of my jeep was really weak, and the mechanic says that the oil that is going through the steering pump all the way to the fan is not circulating properly. Im not sure what do they mean, but i hope in a few days they can fix the problem. He told me that might be the problem why there is noise after 3000 RPM

Another problem is that because of this issue, the radiator fluid is boiling from the radiator and from the reservoir :( i need to get things quick before other problems might occur!! :( thanks for the tip guys!!
