QDII or QTII - How to identify

Hi All, apart from build sheets, standard fitment or going off-road, is there any easy way to identify if a JGC is equipped with QDII or QTII, for example via the EVIC or distinguishing parts etc...

Um yes...QDII will say quadra drive where QTII will say quadra trac ...If you go to
www.moparpowerconnect.com
And register the vin you can see the build sheet and often times service records...

Um yeah... Appreciate the response but I think you mis-understood the question. I was referring to scenarios where you might not have access to a build sheet and need to physically identify QDII on a vehicle.

Found the answer... if the vehicle is equipped with QDII then it will display it on the EVIC after the Jeep logo which appears upon starting the vehicle.

The Trail Rated badge on the driver's side front fender, and 18" wheels w/OWL tires are also easy QDII giveaways.

Depends a little on the year, QDII did not come with the ORA V8 package in 2011. You can have the badge without QDII (for example trail rated V6s). QDII was a stand alone option (or standard) on some models, no ORA required.

I have QDII and no badge :)

The only sure way is to see QD on the EVIC, or check for the motor on the rear pumpkin. Don't waste your time looking for it on a V6.
