Can't get my wj outta 4lo?

Hey guys,
Wanted to try 4lo for the fun of it today, so I put it in 4lo, pulled it out of my driveway, and parked. Now I can't get it out of 4lo. Any suggestions? There's probably a simple solution to this, I'm just not figuring it out.

Start it , put it in neutral then try taking it out

Put the select trac in neutral, or put the tranny in neutral? Because I can't even get the select trac transfer case to neutral.

Tranny , sorry for the short answer. A lot going on here , lol

The owner's manual recommends having the transmission in drive and while coasting at 2-3 mph move the transfer case shifter from 4-lo to neutral and then into 4-all time.

When the Jeep is in park, the gears have a tendency to not be perfectly aligned and the transfer case shifter can't be moved.

Got it, will try that tomorrow. So just get into a coast in D, then press down on the transfer case lever and shift back to 4WD all time. Got it.

Got into a coast in drive, shifted into neutral, then shifted to 4WD full time. Worked perfectly, but seems sort of non-intuitive.

For people used to push button 4wd systems yes...just be thankful you don't have to go out and lock in the hubs anymore...

True. In fact, I don't care if its not intuitive, as long as I know how to do it, that should be all that matters to me. I actually really like the adjustability of selec-trac, 2WD is fun in dry weather, and 4WD ft works great in nasty weather.

If I end up trading up to a 02-04 4.7L HO, is there a model available with that engine and selec trac, or do I have to go with quadra drive?
