PA Horn mount

always have been tempted to do the cb radio in the cubby install... I have the smaller 08 cubby hole in my WK so i was worried about finding a CB to fit.. but I think i can get away with a cobra 19 DX IV... 1.4" tall and 4.5" wide. should work..hopefully...

anyway, I'd like to utilize the PA feature on the cb if possible.. and I know you can buy smaller PA horns for pretty damn cheap... my question is.. where would be the best spot and how to install it? im assuming underneath somewhere.. maybe in the spare tire?? not sure though. any ideas? also, would wiring it be tricky at all?

If you want the sound to travel higher is better.

Think Outside !- No Box Required.

I hear ya. I rather not mount on the jeep somewhere its visible though. It'll be used sparingly for shits n gigs anyhow most likely. Just figured if the hookup was easy.. Why not, right?

Behind the grille works. Not as well as on the roof basket but it works.

Think Outside !- No Box Required.

I have mine mounted directly under the air box. Pointed down and it's pretty damn loud. Love it!!

That's a good spot. Bounce the sound off the ground. Was wiring it tricky at all?

Spare tire would just leave more of a chance of it getting filled up with garbage. Under the hood by the airbox is a good spot. Wiring is easy. Be sure to get your system tuned after installing it. Also, make sure any grounding points are burnished and treated.
