The cost to replace the stock catback

Is approximately $2500!

$1700+ for one section. $700+ for the other sections. I wish Borla made a full cutback! Insurance is paying to replace and was hoping to get a full aftermarket for cheaper than OEM.

How do you get insurance to pay for new exhaust? Were you involved in some kind of accident that damaged it?

Yes, someone rear ended me on I–95 when someone up ahead applied their breaks quickly. Initially we thought the tips were bent, but the entire system is fairly crumpled throughout the pipeline. It was rattling in the rear and we thought it was just in the back near the tips, but he had to straighten a lot of it by heating it up and has decided a new exhaust is needed because he does not feel assured the longevity, sealing, and corrosion protection can hold.

the flapper-valve system is in the piping pre-axleback, right?

I told the body shop that I'd like the Borla Atak axleback if they'll accept that, but we'd need the header/cat back piping that is OEM.
