Brake fluid and differential fluid change intervals?
1) What is the recommended brake fluid change interval? The list at WK2Jeeps.com does not have it (Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - Maintenance information and schedules)
2) I have Quadra-Drive II. I have 23,000 miles on my WK2 so far. I off-road occasionally, but also do a lot of highway driving, with no towing so far. I do drive with a heavy foot in the city. Should I follow schedule B (18,000 miles, i.e. change it now) or schedule A (36,000 miles) for the differential fluid change intervals? It is obvious that some of the conditions for the "B" schedule have nothing to do with the differentials.
Re: Brake fluid and differential fluid change intervals?
Brake fluid, generally speaking, should be changed every 2 years regardless of miles.
Regarding diff oil; as you do a lot of highway and no towing then the 36k interval is fine.
