2005 JGC Key, newly cut cost me $155 pre-tax at the local dealership. Ouch.

Dammn. i think you can order one on ebay and they can cut it for you then you can program it yourself.

^^ That's only if you have 2 keys though. My mom's commander only came with one key. Had to go to the dealer yesterday to get a second one programmed. It cost her 155 with 25 dollar cut/program. Such a crock for something that should cost 60 max....A lot of one's I found on ebay don't have the jeep logo on the back.

I just bout a key from him for my 2010 Wrangler JKUR

It cost me $55 free shipping it came blank in an original jeep case with logo and correct part number Blank and with 2 key programing instructions
Had the parts guy at the local dealer clip it to my vin not cut it
and programmed it myself
