If you want to lift then it's worth it.

I have no idea what size tires and wheels will fit on a compass but I would ask the folks at RRO. I am sure they will have a recommendation. They have always been helpful to me in the past.

With a lift kit and bigger better wheels would i be able to particapate in mild off-roading? since i have Front Wheel Drive?

Your wheels won't make much of a difference. Bigger more aggressive tires will make a huge difference though.

With that set up you be will fine for doing mild off roading. Just avoid soft sand and deep mud type stuff.
