Hi All -
I have a 12 Overland V6. For the last month I have noticed a pulsing/knocking noise when lowering and raising the QL. The dealer was not able to find anything wrong with the QL and said that I was pressing the brake while it was adjusting and the sound was coming from the wheels as they were trying to move slightly while adjusting...braking would stop this and cause the sound. So I went to pick it up and tested with no foot on brake, same noise. They kept it and did more work today. Now they say it is the auto adjusting headlights when they are on. Each adjustment it makes, up or down, comes with a very noticeable pulsing/knocking noise which they say is normal, I dont buy it since I never noticed it til recently. Only can hear it when I am parked and adjust.
Does anyone else notice this noise? I will test tomorrow when I pick it up but wanted to check with others.
Re: Pulsing/Knocking Noise
It's a lie about the headlights. All I can say.
