So I went to the dealer to get that heated seats recall as the previous owner never went. Today I get in the car after bringing it home and see this!!!

My seats were completely flawless!! In this recall they told me thwy would remove the upholstery replace the heating element and put everything back the way it was.

Not only did they ruin my passenger seat but here's what else I noticed before the low setting did not work on the drivers seat and srill dosent if they replaced it wouldn't it work? I think the dealer replaced the right side first messed up and did not touch the drivers side at all. What should I do?!

If it was like that when you brought it in they should have noted it on the work order, and pointed it out to you.

It was flawless and I see no note

The best approach is to first bring it down a notch. If you bust in there first thing Monday and start screaming that could be counter productive.

I would call the Service manager. You speak to no one but him/ her. You can call first thing you will most likely get VM. Leave message in s good firm tone. All was good. Car was returned with rips on both sides. When can I bring it in for you the Service Manager to see it and put a resolution in place. Call desk again ask for SM but this time get name hours days week they work.

If no response in 24 hours then escalate to GM and Chrysler.

GOOD LUCK

let us know. Too bad you don't have some BEFORE PICS. my latest is that when they do the walk around trying to sell me recommended services I take pictures with my phone of the wheels ans sides and bumpers been f'ed too many times.

I wish I had before pics too -___- and I'm going to talk to the manager calmly first n if he fives me crap then ill call Chrysler and if nothings solved then ill get my attorney.

The seats were mint condition still had that natural leather smell and everything I bought this jeep because of the condition it was in. And its a 2004 my 2003 tiburon also has leather seats with 0 defects and my dad has a 1999 Durango and its flawless still looking like new we have old cars (all of them leather) but we know how to take care of them to see the dealee do this is a heart breaker.

So what! They weren't that way when they went to the dealer. They owe him some new leather.

robpp 03-03-2013 08:39 AM

Especially since he states its a recall. If the dealer did any damage trying to perform this recall at a minimum they are responsible to return it to him no worse than when dropped off OR they should be calling that out BEFORE they touch it. Same if it was damaged PRIOR to them touching it.

This is what I would think^ even if it were 20 years old I didn't rip it they did you break it you buy it. If they had even told me that there is a possible risk in ripping I'd rather have pulled the fuse out n screw the heated seats
